Our technology stems from more than forty years of terahertz science and engineering within the Chinese Academy of Sciences, forming a complete, self-reliant technology chain around the generation and detection of terahertz waves — the cornerstone of fusion diagnostics.
We maintain long-term collaborative R&D relationships with institutions such as the China Academy of Engineering Physics and the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics (CAS). Our core team engages internationally through the ITPA (International Tokamak Physics Activity), the IAEA Fusion Energy Conference and the APS Division of Plasma Physics meetings.
We continuously build self-owned intellectual property around terahertz laser sources, detectors, solid-state multiplier sources, interferometric diagnostic systems and imaging algorithms — more than 80 granted invention patents, utility models and software copyrights, spanning terahertz active imaging, liquid/material inspection, and system integration and control.
